Know when the rain starts
A minute-by-minute forecast for the next hour, worked out from the radar. When rain is likely, it tells you when it will start, stop or get heavier, like “Light Rain, heavier in 19 min.” When it's only possible, it says so: “Chance of Light Rain.”
Outside radar coverage, Premium subscribers still get a minute-by-minute forecast from their weather source when available.
The whole forecast, at a glance
Current conditions in tiles for temperature, feels like, wind, humidity, UV and more. Touch and hold to rearrange them, and hide the ones you don't need.
Hourly and daily graphs draw precipitation as water along the bottom. Tap the water to show the amounts.

Follow tropical storms and hurricanes in the Atlantic and the eastern and central Pacific, from NOAA's hurricane centers.

Temperature Only or Conditions, as a circle or a line of text above the clock. Pick any saved place, a font and, for Conditions, filled or outline icons.

Forecasts come from Foreca by default. Premium subscribers can switch to Apple Weather or Open-Meteo.

Search for a town, address or landmark, save where you are, or touch and hold the map to drop a pin. Swipe to delete, drag to reorder.

Choose °F or °C, mph or km/h, and inches or millimetres. Wind and precipitation can follow your region automatically.

Private by design
To show a forecast, the app sends the location you're looking at to a weather provider, and that's the only personal information that leaves your device. Your exact location is never sent to us. Saved places and settings stay on your device, and Apple handles subscriptions, so we never see your name, email or payment details.
